Tom Underwood serves as the Salem District representative. His current term began January 1, 2020. His term will end December 31, 2027. He previously served on the Board of Supervisors from 2008-2012 representing the Salem District.
Supervisor Underwood resides in Reva, where he runs a beef cattle operation. He previously worked as CFO of Lola Travel Company and SVP at Orbitz Worldwide. Additionally, he worked ten years in equity research at Legg Mason and Morgan Keegan. Supervisor Underwood has an MBA from Vanderbilt University and a BA from Duke University.
