David Durr was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2021 and serves as the representative for the Cedar Mountain District. Mr. Durr currently serves as the Vice Chairman for the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors.
Supervisor Durr retired as the General Manager of Culpeper Farmers’ Cooperative in 2017. Prior to working for the Co-op, he managed several agricultural businesses. He has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from Mount St. Mary’s University.
Supervisor Durr is a member of the Agricultural and Forestal Committee, The Treasurer for the Culpeper Mid-Day Lions Club, A Trustee for the Fairfax 43 Masonic Lodge, and Volunteers at the Culpeper Food Closet, Mana Ministry, Empowering Culpeper. Mr. Durr is a Board Member for Culpeper Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Culpeper Fest, and Chairman of Business Development and Assistance Committee
Supervisor Durr currently serves on the following Board Committees: Buliding & Grounds as Chairman, Public Safety, Public Works, Joint Capital Planning, Community Policy & Management, Cable Commission and the Library Board. He serves as the Alternate for Human Services Board and, VA Career Works-Piedmont Region.
Mr. Durr's term expires December 31, 2025.
