The Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board was created as a result of the acts of the Virginia General Assembly and the Federal Older American Act and is established in conformance with the Code of Virginia
Purpose and Duties
Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services is a regional service provider formed in 1972 by the local governments of Planning District 9 (Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock). The mission of the Community Services Board is to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Planning District 9 by providing comprehensive behavioral health, intellectual disability, substance use disorder, and again services.
Length of Term
The Board members serve three year terms.
Term Limitations
Per the Code of Virginia, member can only serve 3 consecutive terms.
Meeting Time and Place
Board of Directors on 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4 pm, Finance and Administrative Services Committee on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 11 am, Program Committee at 1 pm, and Development and Community Relations Committee at 2:45 pm, at the Administrative Offices on Bradford Road in Culpeper.
