The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee serves as the advisory body of the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors. The Advisory Committee serves as a liaison between the Board of Supervisors and the citizens of the community.
Purpose and Duties
The Committee members make recommendations and advise the Parks and Recreation Director in matters affecting recreation policies, programs, personnel, finances, and the acquisition and disposal of lands and properties related to the total community recreation program, and to its long-range, projected program for recreation.
Length of Term
The members serve three year terms.
Term Limitations
There are no term limitations.
Meeting Time and Place
Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM, at the Culpeper County Fieldhouse, 16388 Competition Drive, Culpeper, VA 22701.
