Absentee Voting

In-Person Absentee Voting

For the 45 days prior to all elections, registered voters may vote by visiting our office located at 131 N. Main St. during our regular office hours (8:30 am to 4:30 pm, excluding holidays). Our office is also open for absentee voting the two Saturdays preceding a General Election and for one Saturday preceding a Primary or Special Election.

Before you come in, we advise you to check your registration status online or call us if you have any questions about your registration or your eligibility.

If you are not already registered, you will have to wait five days after registration before you can be issued an absentee ballot (exception for military and overseas voters only*). If you have a Virginia DMV license or ID card, you can register online.

Accessible equipment and/or curbside voting is available upon request.

The last day to vote early in person is the Saturday before Election Day.
