Park Facility Reservations

Culpeper County Fieldhouse:

All reservations must be completed in person, Monday - Saturday 8:00a-9:00p; Sunday 10:00a-6:00p (excluding holidays).

Reservations Deadline

  • Culpeper County Fieldhouse - Reservations  must be completed a minimum of 45 days in advance to a maximum of 364 days in advance.  Cancellations to receive a refund must be completed a minimum of 60 days in advance in writing.

 

Lenn Park, Spilman Park & Mtn Run Lake Park -

Availability can be checked and Reservations completed ONLINE now!  

Please read the information below before proceeding. 

 

Reservations Deadlines

  • Lenn Park - Reservations must be completed a minimum of 30 days in advance to a maximum of 364 days in advance.  Cancellations to receive a refund must be completed a minimum of 45 days in advance in writing.

 

  • Mountain Run Lake Park & Spilman Park - Reservations must be completed a minimum of 7 days in advance to a maximum of 364 days in advance.  Cancellations to receive a refund must be completed a minimum of 14 days in advance in writing.

 

Reservation Times:

  • You can reserve a Half-Day, which is 8:00am - 1:30pm  OR  2:30pm – 8:00pm.
    OR
  • You can reserve the Full Day, 8:00am – 8:00pm.

***1:30pm - 2:30pm is reserved for cleaning the facility.  If you need this time frame for your event, you will be booked / charged for the Full Day rate.  See Facility Fees document (bottom of this page) for pricing.

 

Online Process:

Once you submit your request online, you will receive an email stating your request is being reviewed.  If you don't see the email - first, check your spam / junk folder.  Second, be sure that you click submit until the website gives you a confirmation page.

Once the request has been received by staff, they will review it within 2-business days.  If there are any questions, we will call you.  If no questions, you will receive an email stating that PAYMENT IS NOW DUE.  You will have 48-hours to make full payment on your reservation.  When you make payment, please reply to the email, stating PAID or you can make your payment over the phone with staff (540-727-3412). This helps staff process your request more quickly.  If payment is not made within 48-hours, your permit will be cancelled.  Please do not make payment before your permit has been approved.

 

Paper Forms:

  • You can also either print the forms (bottom of the page) and email them in, or stop by the office and fill out the forms in person.
  • In person Monday - Saturday 8:00a-9:00p & Sunday 10:00a-6:00p (excluding holidays) at the Parks & Recreation Adminsitrative Office,  16388 Competition Drive.
  • Forms completed in person - Payment is due at the time the forms are processed to complete the reservation.
  • Forms sent by email - 
    • If there are any questions, we will call you.  If no questions, you will receive an email stating that PAYMENT IS NOW DUE.  You will have 48 hours to make full payment on your reservation.  When you make payment, please reply to the email, stating PAID or you can make your payment over the phone with staff (540-727-3412). Payment

  • We accept cash, check or credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover) online & in-person.
  • Cash / Checks payable to CCPR - in-person only

 

Arrive and Leaving Times

The reservation process asks what time you will be arriving and when you will be leaving.  These times must be DURING your rental time.  So if you rent from 2:30pm - 8:00pm, you cannot arrive at 2:00pm.   2:30 is the earliest you may arrive.

  • For Lenn Park Pavilion, the arrival time is when staff will meet you on-site to let you in the building.  Once you are in the building, someone from your event must stay on-site, you may not leave the building unattended.
    • The time you note as your "done" time is when staff will return to inspect the building for cleanliness, and lock up.  This time may not be later than 8:00pm.  However, if you list you are going to be done at 7:00pm, and you start cleaning up at 6:00pm, you can call Park Staff (they will give you their number at check in, AND it is listed in your permit) and let them know you're going to be done early. Park Staff needs a minimum of 30 minutes notice for any time changes.  

 

  • For Mountain Run Lake Park & Spilman Park - staff does not have to "let you in" so they will simply stop by after your arrival time to check on  you. They will then return after your "done" to ensure the shelter was cleaned up appropriately.
