  • How can I check my voter registration?
  • What hours are the polls open on Election Day?
    • On Election Day, polling locations are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
       
  • Where do I vote on Election Day?
    • All voters will go to their respective precincts or polling places on Election Day. You can find your polling place onlineVoting does not take place at the General Registrar's Office on Election Day.
       
  • When and where can I vote early?
    • Early voting begins 45 days prior to Election Day and always ends on the last Saturday before Election Day. Early voting takes place at the General Registrar's Office, located at 131 N. Main St. Please see the important election dates tab for further information.
       
  • Where can I find election results?
    • You can find election results on the Virginia Department of Elections website by clicking the link provided.
       
  • How do I cancel my voter registration?
    • You can download the Request to Cancel Voter Registration form to submit to us or contact our office to have a form mailed to you. Any registered voter may cancel his registration and have his name removed from the central registration records by signing this authorization for cancelation and mailing or otherwise submitting the signed authorization to the General Registrar. The General Registrar shall acknowledge receipt of the authorization and advise the voter in person or by first-class mail that his registration has been canceled within 10 days of receipt of such authorization.

    • All campaign finance reports for candidates are now filed online using the State's Comet System.
