Absentee Voting

In-Person Absentee Voting (Early Voting)

For the 45 days prior to every election, registered voters may vote early in person by visiting our office located at 131 N. Main St. during our regular office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays). Our office is also open for early voting on the two Saturdays immediately preceding Election Day.

Before coming to vote early, we advise you to check your registration status online or call our office if you have any questions about your registration or your eligibility.

If you are not already registered to vote in Virginia, you will have to wait five days after registering before you can vote early or have an absentee ballot mailed to you (exception for military and overseas voters only*). If you have a Virginia DMV license or ID card, you can register online.

Accessible equipment and/or curbside voting is available upon request. Please contact us for additional information if you have any questions related to these accommodations.

THE LAST DAY TO VOTE EARLY IN PERSON IS THE SATURDAY BEFORE ELECTION DAY.
