HOW IT WORKS
Early Voting is a way for voters to cast a ballot in person BEFORE Election Day. Statewide in Virginia, Early Voting takes place for the 45 days prior to every election. Early Voting is also offered on the two Saturdays immediately preceding Election Day.
There is a statewide deadline by which to vote early in Virginia. The last day to vote early is always the Saturday before Election Day. Early Voting is not available the day before Election Day.
- Additional statewide deadlines apply to all Virginia elections, including the deadline to register to vote, request an absentee mail ballot, and more.
