ABOUT THE FACILITY
The Culpeper Sports Complex officially opened in 2006 and currently receives over 350,000 visitors per year. Athletic fields available include three (3) football/lacrosse/rugby fields, four (4) little league baseball fields, two (2) softball fields, one (1) youth baseball field and six (6) soccer fields. Practice areas are also available within the Culpeper Sports Complex. In 2022, state-of-the-art Musco LED Athletic Field Lighting was installed on 14 athletic fields including; five (5) baseball, two (2) softball, three (3) football/rugby/lacrosse, and four (4) soccer.
In addition to the premier athletic fields, the Culpeper Sports Complex also features the Bright Spot Playground, Five Senses Garden, a 2.24-mile multi-use trail, two (2) concession stands, permanent restrooms, meditation labyrinth, and ample parking.

National Collegiate Rugby - Cardinal Cup, National Collegiate Rugby Women's National Championship, National Collegiate Rugby Men's National Championship, RugbyVA State Championship, RugbyVA Summer 7s, and Little League State Championship (Softball).

For athletic field reservations, contact Culpeper County Parks & Recreation by email at parks [at] culpepercounty.gov (parks[at]culpepercounty[dot]gov) or by phone at 540-727-3412 Monday - Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

ATHLETIC FIELD STATUS:
All decisions on field playability will be made by the Culpeper County Parks & Recreation Department no later than 3:30pm on weekdays and 7:00am on weekends. MOU League Presidents will be contacted by the athletics manager or his/her designee and CCPR will post on social media and on the CCPR website. To maintain consistency, CCPR will only post on social media when there is a closure. All community users can check our website at any time for any closures.
