At its July 7 meeting, the Culpeper County Board of supervisors unanimously adopted a resolution terminating the local emergency declaration that was issued following the IT infrastructure failure on June 5, 2025.

County operations have been fully restored, and the emergency conditions that prompted the declaration no longer exist. With the adoption of the resolution, all emergency powers authorized under the declaration have ended.

As per commonwealth requirements, a copy of the resolution has been provided to the Virginia Department of Emergency Management.

The Board approved the resolution by a unanimous 7-0 vote.
