The Culpeper Parks and Recreation Department has planned a playground at the Culpeper Sports Complex for a number of years. It wasn't until the Bright family came forward with a donation for a wheelchair accessible swing that their daughter could use, that this project gained momentum.
The desire for more accessible amenities and the community support for an inclusive playground has jettisoned this project to a high priority level in a short period of time.
One family's donation and request for a wheelchair accessible swing inspired a playground where all children and caregivers can play, without limitation!
We invite you to be part of the momentum!
