The Laurel Valley Solid Waste Transfer Station is located about 5 miles northwest of the Town of Culpeper (just off Route 522). This facility is for the use of Culpeper County residents, property owners or duly authorized permit holders. A valid form of ID is required with a County or Town address in order to use the Transfer Station facility.

- Municipal Solid Waste (General Waste) $52.00/ton
- Residential < 500lbs FREE (Limited to one visit per day.)
- Residential > 500lbs $52.00 for entire load
- Debris $52.00/ton
- Brush (Wood chips will be considered General Waste) $52.00/ton
- AC, Refrigerators, freezers (items with freon) $8.50 each
- Whole Tires -
- <26 Inches Diameter $4.00 each
- <36 Inches Diameter $6.00 each
- <46 Inches Diameter $11.00 each
- >46" Diameter, NOT ACCEPTED
*Split tires will be considered General Waste and will be charged accordingly.

Residential Waste Over 500lbs - $52.00 per ton for entire load
The convenience center is located off of Route 3, 2.4 miles east of Batna Road (Route 647)
1/2 mile west of Shell's Gas and Stuff
The Lignum Convenience Center is for the sole use of Culpeper County residents or property owners for HOUSEHOLD TRASH ONLY weighing less than 500 lbs.
Large loads and items unsafe for the trash compactor must be taken to the Culpeper County Transfer Station at 14017 Laurel Valley Place.
We will issue Solid Waste Permit decals free to Culpeper residents that use the Lignum Convenience Center.
