Established in 1998 Culpeper County Public Safety Communications Center serves as the Public Safety answering Point (PSAP) answering all 9-1-1 calls in the Town and County of Culpeper twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff consists of professionally trained employees that constantly strive to protect and serve individuals during emergency and non-emergency situations.
Culpeper County implemented a Motorola 800MHz, 6-channel digital trunked, simulcast radio system in 2006. We provide radio communication services for the following departments: Sheriff, Police, Volunteer Fire & Rescue, County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Non-Public Safety (NPS). We operate an enhanced 9-1-1 (E-911) system, a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and an Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) program.
