Emergency Management Services
Our mission is to reduce the loss of life and property from all types of hazards through a comprehensive program of mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
The Department of Environmental Services responsibilities range from overseeing the operation of the citizen recycling convenience centers and the Solid Waste Transfer Station; management and disposal of municipal solid waste and monitoring of the County's closed landfill facility.
The Finance Department is dedicated to providing quality financial planning for the County. This includes establishing and maintaining effective control over the County's financial activities and providing accurate fiscal information to all County agencies and departments on a timely basis.
The Human Resources Department provides various services to the County departments including classification and compensation, benefits administration, recruitment and retention; training and policy development.

Juvenile Domestic Relations
The Culpeper Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, also known as the Culpeper J&DR Court, hears juvenile traffic tickets, crimes by juveniles, CHIN Supervision and CHIN Services cases, abuse and neglect, Protective Orders for harm against a juvenile, custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, crimes by an adult against a juvenile or a family member, and Protective Orders involving a juvenile or family member.
Our Mission is to assess and work with community agencies in providing services designed to reduce risk of youth in the community of getting in trouble with the legal system, school, alcohol or drugs; while encouraging youth to become productive, respectful, and responsible members of the community.
