The next Planning Commission meeting will be held on December 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.


Upcoming Changes To Firm (Floodplain Insurance Rate Map)

 

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has proposed new floodplain boundaries for Culpeper County.

Online mapping that presents the proposed new areas along with the current effective flood hazard areas, are available for viewing at  http://arcg.is/0jKPqC

FEMA’s project officer is Lee Brancheau who can be reached at legrande.brancheau@fema.dhs.gov .

FEMA will hold a 90-day appeal period beginning in the spring of 2019.  Revised maps are scheduled to be effective in Culpeper County in the summer of 2019.
