Basic Life Support Skills Drills

  The cost will be:
  Registration Requirements: Class time is from 08:00-17:00. All EMS providers recertifying after July 1, 2009 are required to have completed regional skills drills to be considered for OMD approval for continued practice and eligibility for a test waiver at their certification level. Mass Casualty Incident Mngt (MCIM) Modules 1 & 2

  Location: Culpeper County Rescue Squad- Co. 11
  The cost will be:
  Registration Requirements: Class time is from 08:00-17:00. All students must have completed IS-100, 200 and 700. (www.training.fema.gov). Must register one week prior to class. Contact Wayne Green with any questions at 727-9624.
  Module 1 as an awareness level course that prepares first responders to a mass casualty incident on how to take appropriate initial control actions of the medical issues and perform patient triage. Module 2 is an operations level course and prepares individuals in leadership roles in a mass casualty incident to assume staff positions and direct effective action within the medical group of an incident mngt. system.

  Registration Requirements: Class time: 19:00-22:00. Please register by April 23rd, 2010.

EVOC S-1, S-2 and S-3
  Beginning 05/18/09 at See below (time)
  Location: Salem VFD- Co. 8
  The cost will be:
  Registration Requirements: Class to be held 5/18 and 5/20 from 18:30-22:30 and also on 5/23 from 0800-1700. This course requires 16 hours of instruction (100% attendance required for certification), 8 hours classroom and 8 hours consisting of practical exercises. All students must complete 4 hrs of behind the wheel for each level of certification and signed off by the Chief of the department. Contact Wayne Green for form or see your training officer.
