Last week Carl Stafford, a County Extenstion Office Agricultural and Environmental Agent, taught local Boy Scouts how to tell the differences between trees while walking the trails of Spilman Park. The scouts learned how to label trees at the park where they will help Culpeper Parks and Recreation with a number of upcoming projects. The project was an effective mixture of education, community improvement and volunteerism.
