Aquafina & Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) is an exciting baseball skills competition that provides boys and girls, ages 7 to 14 (as of July 17, 2009), the opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities.  You do not have to play baseball or softball to compete.

PHR participants have the opportunity to advance through four levels of competition, including Local and Sectional competitions, Team Championship events at all 30 Major League ballparks, and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game.   Any participant registering must compete in all three events.   A participant can only compete in one Local event.

Downtown Culpeper – The Depot & Davis Street - 10 am – 3 pm

The 10th Annual 4th of July Car & Bike Show will take place in Downtown Culpeper at Davis Street and the Depot.  The show is open and free to spectators.  The event will start at 10:00 a.m. and include custom, classic, and antique, cars, motorcycles, and trucks.  This year will highlight a feature car - the Ford Thunderbird.  Registration for participants is from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.  Pre-registration is suggested.  Judging begins at 10:00 a.m., and the Awards Presentation starts at 2:30 p.m.
