Septic System Repair and Replacement Funding Available for Culpeper District
All residents of the Culpeper Soil and Water Conservation District are now eligible for reimbursement of fifty percent of the expense of pumping, maintaining, repairing or replacing on-lot septic systems. The District has just received a two year grant to expand their current septic system program to all areas of the five county conservation district; all areas Culpeper, Greene, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock Counties. Broadband Recommendations for Culpeper County and Town of Culpeper
In the spring of 2016, Culpeper County and the Town of Culpeper were awarded a DHCD (Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development grant to assess current and future broadband needs, evaluate current broadband service offerings, costs, and availability in the town and the county, identify public/private partnership opportunities with service providers, assess market demand, and recommend a comprehensive of strategies to improve broadband connectivity.

(WTRMTR) defensive driving campaign
- VML Insurance Programs awarded 17 members for their efforts in the campaign -
Culpeper, VA – Culpeper County was among one of 17 VML Insurance Programs (VMLIP)
members to receive recognition for their participation in the WTRMTR defensive driving
campaign at the annual awards banquet held this March.

Governor McAuliffe Announces 58 New Jobs in Culpeper County
~ EURO-COMPOSITES® Group to invest $10.5 million to expand its U.S. operation~
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that EURO-COMPOSITES® Group will invest $10.5 million to expand its U.S. operation in Culpeper County. The company manufactures advanced honeycomb composite materials used in aviation, space, industrial, and defense technology applications, and will expand the facility by 51,000 square feet and add new equipment to increase production of composite-based parts associated with the aerospace industry. Virginia successfully competed against Echternach, Luxembourg for the project, which will create 58 new jobs. Read more about Euro-Composites.
