Assessor 

The Department of Real Estate Assessments is responsible for the fair and equitable valuation of real property. The current assessment became effective January 1, 2013 and will remain in effect until January 1, 2015. As mandated by the Culpeper County Board of Supervisors, Culpeper assesses on a biennial cycle.

 

Board of Supervisors

Culpeper County is governed by a nine-member Board of Supervisors. The chairman of the Board of Supervisors is elected by the voters at large. The other supervisors are elected from each of eight election districts in the county. All nine members serve concurrent terms of four years.

The goal of the Victim/Witness Program is to reduce the trauma victims experience and help ensure that survivors receive fair and compassionate treatment while participating in the criminal justice system.
