|Alexa Fritz was elected to represent the Salem District on the Board of Supervisors on November 6, 2012 and was sworn in November 9, 2012. Alexa was voted in during a special election to replace the previous representative that had to step down due to personal reasons. She was re-elected in 2015. Alexa currently serves as a member of the Public Safety Committee, the Public Works Committee, the Community Policy and Management Team, the Economic Development Advancement Committee, and is on the Extension Leadership Council Committee.
Alexa spent twelve years in the real estate field, including as a business owner and broker of her own company, Fritz Realty LLC. She sold assets for banks as foreclosure sales and has negotiated short sales for borrowers that were upside down. She also worked with families in trouble to modify their loans with their servicers to enable them to keep their homes. She put the real estate on a side burner to expand her involvement in the community. She has spent the past seven years working in Culpeper County to encourage more citizen involvement in the County.
She has also been a member of numerous organizations and has decades of volunteer work, including founding and being the first president of a women’s civic group, the FFRW. Her group has been actively growing since it’s opening to include men and associate members. Alexa has volunteered with the Helping Hand, the Culpeper Food Closet, Manna Ministry, is the troop leader of her daughter’s girl scout troop, as well as having volunteered and coached in sports, and has been active with the 4H goat and sheep club.
She grew up in Fairfax County and has lived in Culpeper County for 12 years. She has been married to her husband, Erich, for 19 years. They reside in Reva with their son Quinnten, daughter Haley, and nephew Shane
