Elected Officials

Culpeper Town Council

The Town of Culpeper holds May Town elections in even years. Terms are staggered between the nine member council.
Council members are also elected at large, meaning that Town Council members are elected to represent the entire
Town of Culpeper government, instead of being elected from the four voting polling locations located within the Town.

Virginia Senate and House of Delegates

Culpeper County is split between three Virginia Senate districts (17th, 24th and 27th) and two House of Delegates (18th and 30th) districts. This districting results in split precincts or voters voting on different Senate or House of Delegate races,

but voting in the same polling place as their neighbors. This is a result of redistricting and is based on the census and population. To see your Senate and House of Delegates boundary lines go to http://www.vpap.org/updates/redistricting_maps?election_seat_id=4
